Maintenance of the 
WRM 200 Weather radar


As part of the actions to strengthen the National Disaster Risk Management System, preventive and corrective maintenance was carried out on the WRM 200 meteorological radar, located in Barrancabermeja.

These activities ensure the quality, continuity, and reliability of meteorological data, which is essential for rainfall monitoring, the generation of early warnings, and timely decision-making aimed at protecting lives and territories.

The UNGRD continues to work on strengthening the technological infrastructure that supports disaster risk prevention and reduction in Colombia.
